A map that flies from city to city (map tour)
A map tour from London to Paris to Rome, pulling back between stops, on a raster Mercator map after Update map.
- Map tab → World, Mercator, Raster image (it follows the Root at footage speed), a style, a view that shows all the stops. Build Map.
- Elements → Pins: add the cities (Bulk: one per line).
- Camera → Tour → Move the map: pick the pins in order, Zoom × (2.5), Move (s), Hold (s), Pull back between stops, Travel straight (on). Keyframe the tour.
- Update map (the bar above the status line says the map is soft at the stops): it adds sharper zoom levels that cross-fade as the map zooms in.
For a vector map, tick Live map before building (or press Update map, which builds it live), or use the camera tour instead, which works on every map. With Atlas MCP: build_world_map (raster Mercator), add_pins; the tour itself is (panel) (Camera → Tour → Move the map); a camera move can stand in: fly_to each stop in turn with start times (each call is one move; rebuildMap updates the map afterwards).
